SC2's History
1983
Superior Blasting & Painting Inc. was established.
1988
Employees purchased the company, making it 100% employee-owned, and changed our name to Superior Consolidated.
1996
The Superior Consolidated Corporate office was moved to downtown Peoria, IL.
2000
Two locations opened in East Peoria, IL, to facilitate growth and enhance our painting operations
2004 - 2010
SC2 added multiple services & locations through new partnerships with automotive, construction, and agriculture manufacturers
2017
SC2 establishes a facility in Milan, IL, supporting dealer inventory returns processing, rework services, vendor packaging, and kit storage.
2023
SC2 establishes a facility in Mattoon, IL, through growth and packaging solutions with a current partner.
1987
Kevin McGinty named President & CEO Superior Blasting & Painting Inc. becomes the supplier of worldwide product returns.
1990
-1992
The Adams Street facility was opened in Peoria, IL, and the first highly efficient paint line was installed. The first packaging operation opened in Mapleton, IL.
1997
We opened our Delavan facility to diversify our service offerings by adding commercial packaging and assembly solutions.
2002
Superior Consolidated re-brands, becoming SC2 Supply Chain Services & Solutions.
2008
SC2 opened our Waco, TX facility, expanding the partnership and solutions offered to current customers.
2022
SC2 establishes a facility in Morton, IL providing kitting solutions to current customer.
Today
SC2 has over 1,500 employees across 17 business units.
